TADA! SELECTED BY THE PHD PROJECT
TO HELP
STUDENTS COMPLETE THEIR DOCTORAL DEGREE
ABD Solutions Co. has created groundbreaking
interactive multimedia software
PHOENIX, AZ., March, 2005 – TADA!™ Thesis and
Dissertation Accomplished, developer of the groundbreaking
interactive thesis and dissertation learning software, proudly
announces its collaboration with The PhD Project, a multi-million
dollar corporate and academic-led effort to increase minority
representation among business professors.
The PhD Project-TADA! collaboration aims to
help doctoral students stay committed and accomplish their goals.
TA-DA! is based on a step-by-step process to help students complete
their masters thesis and dissertation. The PhD Project is providing TADA! software
to all minority business doctoral students associated with
The PhD Project, including those who will begin their programs
this September.
“TADA! Thesis and Dissertation Accomplished interactive
CD helps doctoral students in all stages of their career – in
particular the more advanced students who might be facing issues
of procrastination, isolation, and time management,” said
Bernie Milano, president of the KPMG Foundation which administers
The PhD Project. “TADA!'s comprehensive methodology is a
great complement to our efforts to diversify business school faculty.”
“We are honored to join the nation-wide effort to diversity
the academic faculty,” said Dr. Wendy Carter, co-founder
of ABD Solutions Company. “Helping students complete their
thesis or dissertation is TADA!’s main priority.
This software will benefit doctoral students worldwide and will
be a powerful resource for graduate students writing a thesis or
dissertation.”
The research on graduate attrition shows that only 50% of students
complete their degree. Traditional books on surviving a doctoral
program focus on the writing aspect of completing a doctoral dissertation,
which has often proven ineffective. Completing the thesis or dissertation
component of any graduate program can be considerably difficult
and filled with many other obstacles, traditions and prerequisites
that involve more than just writing. Even the best writers struggle
to finish their degree.
TA-DA!-Thesis and Dissertation Accomplished
is a CD-ROM resource tool that supersedes the traditional methods
by using a comprehensive interactive technology to introduce
a new learning paradigm and methodology to increase the student’s competitive advantage
in completing a thesis or dissertation, and thus their graduate
degree. TA-DA! addresses every aspect of the process by providing
specific, structured guidance that explicitly prepares students
to move their thesis or dissertation forward on a timely basis – moving
past procrastination and other roadblocks. The writing portion
then becomes a very manageable part of the process. It is a highly
recommended resource tool for those starting a thesis or dissertation
program or for those who are already working on a thesis or dissertation
and need specific help on any part of the process.
